So, it has been a few weeks since we have been back from Disney World. Yes, it has taken me this long to recover! First of all, let me advice those of you who are planning a trip to the most wonderful place on earth, don't go if you're pregnant. It was still fun but extremely tiring.
Elijah was enchanted the entire time. He did so good...well until Tyler got there. He had all the attention for 3 1/2 days and then he had to share. Tyler did okay. I think he was just tired before he got there and then we forced him to miss naps and stay out late and get up early. All of this aside, I would do it again in a heartbeat. There is just nothing like taking your own children to personally meet Mickey Mouse!
We started at the Magic Kingdom the first day. Elijah was thrilled. I wish he was that happy every morning when he got out of bed! His first ride was of coarse, Buzz Lightyear. And by the way, that is the real Buzz talking to you when you are waiting to get on the ride :) I can't tell you how many times we got to ride Buzz! It was great. I had the pleasure of riding with Elijah on the race cars. He is not that bad...all though I may have gotten a little wiplash. Just talking about our trip is making me want to go back right now! I could go on and write an extremely long blog about it all but I won't. I will say that Elijah's favorite rides were the Haunted Mansion and Thunder Mountain! I couldn't believe it...he's only 4! I was told he held his arms up on Thunder Mountain! That is one of my favorite rides also but I couldn't ride :(
Tyler arrived on Thursday with Nana and Papa. We went straight to Buzz Lightyear! Surprise! We were able to get a bite to eat and then straight to find a spot for the parade. The boys loved the parades. Tyler made sure to point out all the characters and Elijah picked up a stick and conducted the music...too cute.
Friday was Epcot...not that much fun for the boys but they still had a good time. Saturday was Animal Kingdom. We had breakfast with Donald and the boys were ill this day. It was an early breakfast. Elijah enjoyed the Dinoland ride and Tyler just went along with everyone else. We enjoyed some icecreams later and caught the Lion King show. It was great!
Sunday we tried to get all the last minute things in :P Time seemed to speed up the closer it got to the end of our trip. It was a great time though. I would definately recommend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! One of the best parts of our trip. Also, try Ohana! It was the best dinner we had...no characters, but still lots of fun for Elijah.
Oh yeah, we are going to try and go back next year! We are so excited and really want to go back now! Craig is the most excited of anyone!
Enjoy the pictures!

Let me just start by saying this is probably going to be pretty crazy and out of order. This is my first blog ever, so bare with me. I guess I could introduce everyone...I am Lorrie, a 30 year old mom of 2 very energetic little boys. I work part-time as a labor and delivery nurse and could probably go on for days with stories about that. But I do have to say that I love my job. I have been married to Craig for 8 years and let me just say, never a dull moment. Craig is 30 also but never forgets to remind me that I am 3 months older than he...little does he know, I am older than him in so many ways :) Craig works as a supervisor at a local pest control company and loves not having to sit at a desk all day...I'm not sure what he really does all day, but he enjoys it. Elijah is our oldest boy at 4 years old. He is very out-going and never meets a stranger...seriously! He is a great big brother and is very excited about his new baby coming. Oh yeah, baby #3 is on the way! He or she should arrive in February!!! Tyler, our little 2 year old, is just that, 2! He is beginning to explore his boundaries and trying to become independent. He is still very loving and cuddly though, when he wants to be. He is a sweetheart. And I may be a little partial, but I think my boys are too cute!
I wouldn't be doing you justice if I didn't talk about Charlie. He is our 7 year old daushund. He doesn't do a whole lot. Pretty much just buries himself under the covers on the couch and stays there until time for bed. Little bit lazy. Unless the cat, Naya, aggravates him to the point of jumping off the couch for one lap of chase around the house. Then its back on the couch to recover!
Well, that's us...one crazy and fun loving family. But I have to end with this. We are who we are because of the grace of our Heavenly Father. He has blessed us far beyond what we deserve and we owe Him our all! We strive daily to live our lives as to bring Him glory and enjoy His presence! What an Awesome God we have!
